With these kinds of weapons comes great damage. Engineers are a strong, heavy professions that make them really dangerous.Pros.

Cool, versatile weapons. Heavy damage. Can set turretsCons. The Engineer is a very intricate class, so most people play a simplified version. Close combat weapons can be a con if you’re playing against a high range class. Low mobility/have trouble dodging attacks. Not as easy to attack moving enemiesTank Level: 22/25Healing level: 19/25Mastery level: 14/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 80/100Heart of Thorns: Scrapper gives the engineer the ability to finish off a kill or revive allies.

Engineers also get more self-healing abilities, boons for toughness, and the ability to stun and daze.Tank Level: 23/25Healing level: 23/25Mastery level: 13/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 84/100Path of Fire: Holosmith gives engineers a fire-bending weapon skill. This skill causes more damage in exchange for health. This skill burns, sets off explosives, and removes impairments. You also have the ability to dodge.Tank Level: 19/25Healing level: 19/25Mastery level: 12/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 75/1002. NecromancerNecromancers are friendly with death and can raise minions and blood sucking fiends from their graves to help deal damage and take the effects of the spell’s enemies cast on you. Necromancers weaken enemies by drawing blood and stealing life while often being able to cheat death themselves. They are a close combat profession and are some of the most efficient in killing opponents in solo events.Pros.

Strong solo profession because of minions. Minions take damage and cause opponents to bleed. Hard to kill in solo gamesCons.

Do not deal enough damage in group events and require help from alliesTank Level: 19/25Healing level: 19/25Mastery level: 17/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 80/100Heart of Thorns: Reaper gives Necromancers the ability to attack a group of allies. This was previously a con in the original GW2, but now Necromancers can hurt many enemies at once, trap enemies, chill them, and inflict conditions on them. Their mobility is slightly weakened, but they strike and chill their enemies with cries from the underworld.Tank Level: 20/25Healing level: 19/25Mastery level: 16/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 80/100Path of Fire: Scourge gives Necromancers shade, like a cloak that protects them against strikes and spells cast on allies. Scourge converts boons set on allies into crippling attacks on enemies.Tank Level: 24/25Healing level: 22/25Mastery level: 17/25DPS level: 25/25Overall class usefulness rating: 87/1003. ThiefLike the name suggests, one of the best parts of being a thief is being stealing. Thieves have the ability to sneak around and away from enemies.

  • Do you always play together with your friend(s) or do you prefer to explore on your own?
    • I make sure none of my friends even play GW2, or atleast not on the same server.

    • I'd rather explore and try to solo the content.

    • Even though I like to play with friends I often end up going off on my own.

    • I play in groups as much as I can.

    • I never log on if I can't do stuff with my friends.

  • Do you prefer to use your abilities in a straight forward manner or complex with multiple chioces and combos.
    • I want to be able to focus more on the battle than my abilities

    • I like to make up combos ahead of battle and execute them for maximal damage output.

    • I never assume anything and always adapt in the heat of the fight.

    • I don't know.. I just spam my buttons and expect my enemies to die.

  • Which purpose do you often serve in groups?
    • I am a natural leader for guilds, groups and pvp parties.

    • I like to support the group as a whole but don't like the responsibility of a leader.

    • Virtual families 2 health tips. I focus mainly on what I do and just follow the flow.

    • I can be a bit of a wildcard and don't generally do well in groups.

    • Light, looking really mystic and wise

    • Medium, looking slick and wild

    • Heavy, looking brutal and strong

  • Would you prefer to do alot of damage/healing with long intervalls or little damage/healing with short intervalls?
    • I like big numbers which I can see make a difference when applied.

    • Many a mickle makes a muckle. Damage over time abilities and pets make you more mobile to boot.

  • Is mobility an important aspect for you both in and out of battle?
    • Yes, the more movement options I have the better.

    • Not more than what I can do with my mouse and keyboard, after all; keeping out of melee range is basically all I need to do.

    • It's fun to teleport/jump in the terrain but in battle I don't use that disengaging stuff really.

  • Do you like few but effective abilities or do you prefer an arsenal even though you might not find use for most of it?
