My daughter and I love to read together, and now that the weather has turned cold we are snuggling on the couch with our noses in a book more than usual. M loves audiobooks, too, which is nice because it gives my voice a rest now and then. I like to find coloring pages that go along with the story, and I’ll join her in coloring and listening when time permits. Very therapeutic and relaxing! And even at 46 years, I’m enjoying the books written for 4 – 7 year-olds!

The other day we were listening to Bless This Mouse by Lois Lowry, and it occurred to me that we’ve read a lot of stories featuring a mouse or two (or more)! Iron brigade hat. I created these free Mouse printables to go along with our favorite Mouse Lit! Snuggle up on the couch with a good mouse book, audiobook, or movie!

I am afraid of mice.are you? I don’t mind them if I am looking at them in a pet store or in a contained space, but if they are running around in the wild, I am afraid of them. One time I was staying in a lake house and I heard a mouse trap snap.

I could hear other mouse friends running around in the closet.EEK!
