These are my experiences since I got the game yesterday, and I made sure to get the 1.04 patch installed first, before I started playing. If you get the game, make sure you use the Check for Update button to find the latest patch for the game because the original 1.00 version is the one that was horribly bug-ridden and crashed all the time and what-not.Also, as the PSN is down at the time of this writing, LBP3 does NOT play well with DDOS attacks. When you boot the game up while connected to the internet but while the PSN is down, you will get to the Pod screen and be presented with an error message.
You can close the error message but when you go to access your Pod and you select something, the game just freezes. The sound still plays, but the screen is frozen. Going into PS4 settings and choosing to un-check 'Connect to the Internet' fixed these issues for me.I experienced no bugs or glitches in the single-player mode. Everything went smoothly. My only complaint is that the story mode is shorter than LBP2/LBP1, as it only has the Prologue world and then 3 other worlds. What makes the story mode have some length to it is all the side activities and quests in each of the 3 worlds. I haven't done any of those yet, so my story mode experience was particularly short.Online multiplayer either doesn't connect at all or is so laggy it's unplayable.
Local multiplayer works flawlessly.Create mode works just fine except for the fact that the level backgrounds (you know, when you go to the Global section and choose the 3D backdrop for your level) are utterly broken. They don't load properly, and all that loads is the lighting differences for the background and a few scraps of geometry in the distance. It's hideously ugly, annoying, and frustrating as someone who likes to create nice-looking levels, but the default background loads just fine so it's not really a massive deal since you can just create your own backgrounds and tweak the lighting to suit the mood. Warning, sad post here. I wouldn't recommend this game. It's good, but not quality enough.

Still it's great if you like to create things and play with physics. I wish I never bought it.
I've been dreaming about LBP game since the first one appeared, but all my expectations has been killed by LBP3, sadly. Too many bugs and crashes, also can't join any player to play online, it worked just one time since game's release. This project is dead for me now, because it feels like Steam Early Access thing in every way somehow. They even had beta before release and they've released unfinished product. I never thought it may happen with console release, but it is what I got so far. Not going to buy anything from LBP3 developers from now on and will recommend my friends not to as well.
Really disappointed and I can't even get a refund, money wasted. Some problems has been patched though, but some serious one still not. I also get some heavy FPS drops sometimes and graphics artifacts. Well, that's pretty much it.
